China International Hardware Show 2007 - Powered by PRACTICAL WORLD, is the most significant trade event in Asia covering the areas Tools, Security, Locks and Fittings, Home Improvement/DIY and Gardening.

The show in 2006 attracted 1,600 companies from 16 countries - including 149 exhibitors from abroad and occupied 70,000 square meters of gross exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre Shanghai, China. A total of 30,500 visitors from 72 countries were registered for the fair and nearly 3,500 of the visitors came from abroad, an increase of 34.5 per cent from the last fair.

Higher turnout is expected in 2007 with more than 1,600 exhibitors occupying 80,500 square meters in seven halls attracting in excess of 33,000 visitors, coming from countries/regions such as Hong Kong (SAR), Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia, Singapore. Among many leading multinational retailers previous events have attracted names such as B&Q, Kingfisher, Home Depot, Lowe's and OBI among others.
